Hello! I’m Zoë Burchard, a Seattle artist, born and raised in Washington State. I’m constantly drawn in by the human form and the human pursuit of desire and joy. Through art I explore my own gender identity and what it means to be alive. The medium of the art does not matter to me as I seek to try varied approaches creation, from photography to painting and collage. Since I was old enough to understand the concept of creation- one could argue, since I was born- I’ve been drawing, painting and playing with anything I could get my hands on to try to filter the world around me through my brain, building a world all my own.
